Technical difficulties

During the Half term my group and I went to our location to film at night but faced a major hurdle which we could not over come as the camera could not pick up any footage due to it being to dark outside. although there is no visuals in the footage we will upload everything shot and blog about what we have leearnt.

 The above images are from our alternate storyboard, made from Jelly babies and post stick notes illustrating the paper to create the scene. The first two images show sthe murder list of the masked murderer,the two images below display two different victims murdererd with the signature mask and rope.

bathroom murder

While spending some time at my friends house i noticed his bathroom light flickers alot which darkens everything everyother second. i asked permission to film in the house and the permission was granted but a problem we face is that the light will be fixed on the weekend so we need to go there and film as soon as possible

The above images are magazine covers all published by the UK's leading film magazine "empire" my group and I will have to create something similar, so the images shown are pretty helpful as we can use this as a guideline for how a a film magazine cover for a blockbuster should look. you can also see that the colour of the tittle and other writing shown on the magazine chnages to suit the character shown this is a great help as we can create more then one film magazine cover with different characters shown with differsnt colours which will give the viewer an insight about the charcter.The two charcters we can use is the masked murderer but not showing the face just the mask, detective garcia and his "side kick" Taylor James. Two out of the three magzine covers show feature an extreme close up of the charcters face an idea my group and I will take on board.

On the way home from a night  out on the weekend i noticed this church tremendously lit up. i decided to take photos of this church because even though it was lit up the surroundings were still dark this is a striking image and creates a sinister atmosphere. as we are also doing a crime detective teaser trailer i think this building could be very useful.

Then getting closer to home i approached Wandsworth common which is normally not a great place to film but in the evening it creates a mysterious atmosphere due to the lighting and the dack sourroundings
