Location
The images above are places we plan on filming the reasons for these locations are that we could easily make it seem if this is set in the 1960's

As my group has decides to do a crime thriller The teaser trailer will have to indicate that a crime has been comitted or something along those lines.Whilst searching on the internet i came across novelty police tape for sale which is an exact replica of the real thing so before we begin to film we shall order some of create the atmosphere of a crime scene.

Senna Teaser Trailer
The final teaser trailer we watched in class was Senna a Biopic film on the life of Ayrton Senna the f1 car racer. I would say this film was aimed at males from 21-45 the reason for the wide age gap is that males of the age of 21 usually like f1 and films based on cars, the older viewers will know Senna and will be attracted by the actual footage, They will also be drawn in wanting to know more about the life of Ayrton Senna.

Last years research process
Last year whilst studying AS media, we had made many mistakes regarding audience. The first mistake we made was our survey we sent it out individually instead of using a site such as http://www.surveymonkey.com/. This was a major setback as less people would take our survey due to it not being mutiple choice and they also had to write/type, this year we only went for multiple choice questions which meant the survey could be completed with just clicking a mouse. My colleagues also suggested that we do more then five questions but less then ten so we decided to go with 8 questions which is enough to give us the information required without having to much questions for the participants to answer.
Our feedback from last year was poor, this was due to us printing out the survey and having participants write their answers down this gave us less feedback and careless answers. Now that we are using the website "surveyMonkey"we can put the survey on our personal profiles of social networking sites such as (Facebook,Twitter,Blogger and bebo) this gives us a wider audience.
I've also discussed with my new colleauges about their past expirences, Malika who did not study in Ernest Bevin last year told me about her expirence. Malika described her colleauges last year as "lazy" she told me that the course started well but as the year went on her colleagues began to stop working leaving her with the work. She also informed me that the filming schedule was poor as they could not get the same free lessons the only time they could meet up was after school, and the time was limited. Then when they had reached the editing stage her group did not want to help leaving Malika to edit by herself although Malika passed her media studies AS course she believes the grade could have been improved if her group decided to help.

Transformers: Dark of the moon
After watching the teaser trailer to "Age of heroes" we moved on to "Transformers : Dark of the moon" directed by Michael Bay. From watching this teaser trailer i would estimate a target audience of males from early teens - early forty's (15-40+). The reason for the major gap is that the main character played by Shia LaBeouf who is famous for starring in children's show "Even Stevens" which means he will attract a younger crowd , also the fact that The Transformers comics were released in the early 80's along with an animated series means an older audience will be attracted to the film not forgetting the footage of the "space race" which took place between 1957 and 1975 which should also attract an older audience . Unlike the "Age of heroes" teaser trailer the Transformers teaser trailer has much less action and dialogue most of it shows three men walking through space. The first sighting of a transformer in this teaser trailer is the uncovering of a massive face of a robot done through a low angle shot, throughout the clip no footage of transformers in action is shown this could either leave the viewer wanting more or complaining that it was not good enough.
Poster ideas
If my group and i decide to do a film noir teaser trailer, i would like it to look something like this so we could use this as a guideline. I think that this is a good poster for a template as the words are capitalised which grabs a persons attention and the words "the spirit" which are not as big as the others are in red which also corresponds with the name. as the name suggests the city has a lot of crime causing people to scream
Mood boards
As my group and i have had many ideas i will be uploading different mood boards relating to each idea.
The first teaser trailer we watched was "The age of heroes"directed by Adriana Vitoria. From watching the teaser trailer i would say the film had a target audience of males in their late teens-late thirtys (18-35+) the reason for this is that the film looks rather violent which is gives a sense of masculinity and as the film is violent it will most probably be aimed at people who are of the age of 18 or older. Throughout the teaser trailer only one female is seen which gives the indication that this is a male dominated film. Most films aimed at males are "action pumped" this film looks as if it has plenty action as just about everybody seen in the teaser trailer is holding a firearm. There is also a one liner by one of the characters saying "Do you want to see some action". Going back to the target audience i have selected this target audience because of the actors in the film younger viewers may know Danny Dyer from films such as "The football factory" and slightly older viwers may know Sean Bean from films such as "golden eye" or even more recent films such as the "Lord of the rings triliogy".

First media lesson
In our First A2 media lesson of the new accademic year, we were given our task which was to make a teaser trailer along with a magazine cover and poster. But this is a long process as we have to do audicence research to then come up with an idea a pitch mooodboards and plenty other actions. we also watched a few teaser trailers and annalysed them this gave us an idea of what teaser trailers should look like.
